Want to know what to know about Swiss Days in Midway, Utah? These are the tested and approved Swiss Days activities you need to know about.

Going to Swiss Days in Midway is super exciting and if you’re anything like me you are doing all the research you possibly can to ensure you are prepared.
As someone who has lived in Utah for many years, I am sharing everything you need to know about Swiss Days that my family and I swear by.
You will get the inside scoop on the best Swiss Days activities, vendor booths, Midway shops, and more. After learning all about Swiss Days, you will be a pro and extra prepared to make the most of this annual celebration.
This post is all about what to expect at Swiss Days in Midway, Utah.
Swiss Days is a fun summer Utah activity celebrating the Swiss settlers who claimed land from the Native Americans in Midway and Heber, Utah, in Wasatch County.
It’s worth noting that there is a red rock in front of the Wasatch County School District Building, where you can learn more about the history between white settlers and Native Americans. The address is 101 East 200 North, Heber, UT 84032.
The annual Swiss Days celebration is a free, family-friendly event. There were so many fun activities for kids, like the climbing wall pictured below and several blow-up bouncy houses.

Since there are so many people, I only looked at the Swiss Days vendors and Midway Shops.
The annual Swiss Days celebration in Midway, Utah, typically occurs on the first weekend in September; however, in 2025, Swiss Days fell on the last weekend in August.
The two big celebration days are typically on Friday and Saturday. You can expect most businesses in Utah to be closed on Sundays.
Coming from Utah County, you will drive north through Provo Canyon. After driving under a tunnel, you will pass Sundance, the town made famous by Robert Redford and his Sundance Film Festival, on the left-hand side.
While there is no official location for Swiss Days, you will want to enter the address for Midway Town Hall: 75 100 W Midway, UT 84049.
If your internet is spotty, then head toward Midway Mainstreet. Most of Utah was built on a grid system, making navigation easy.

Fun Fact: If you are looking to take the perfect picture, walk across the street to the building across from the Midway Town Hall.
If you are facing that building, go to the left side, and there is a painted picture of the Midway Town Hall, so that you won’t have the glare of the window reflection in the background of your photo.

There is no entrance fee to attend Swiss Days; however, you will want to plan on bringing money for:

There is limited parking during the annual Swiss Days festival due to restrictions and the high volume of attendees. One of the locals claimed that “100,000” people attended Swiss Days in 2025.
If you are willing to pay $20 for parking, I recommend this option because you will be close enough to walk.
This year, I tried the $10 parking option in an open field, which was located farther away from the venue and, quite frankly, not worth justifying the $10 savings.
If you choose the $10 parking option, you will receive a wristband to ride the shuttle buses, but please note that there is a long waiting line.
Don’t forget to take a picture with your phone so you remember where you parked and avoid getting lost, since there are no labels.
The parking field is a little under two miles from the parking lot to the Midway Town Hall, but there is a walking path down Midway Center Street that is downhill on the way back.
Utah is technically a desert, so be prepared for warm weather, even in September.
The list below is what I recommend packing in a small bag so you can have an enjoyable experience at Swiss Days:
I cannot stress this enough, but prepare for large crowds. One of the locals claimed that “100,000” people attended Swiss Days in 2025.
All of the bathrooms in the local Midway businesses are closed for Swiss Days, but there are outhouse options, so definitely use the restroom before you make the drive.
There is a designated diaper-changing station located near the Midway Town Hall, as well as an indoor mother’s room for added privacy.
At the Dainty Pear Co., there is a place to park strollers.
The local Midway Shops open at 8:00 am on Friday and Saturday for Swiss Days and sometimes have special marketplace deals.

There are several Midway shops on Mainstreet that are within walking distance from the Swiss Days festivities, but the ones I enjoyed the most were:
Address: 168 West 100 North, Midway, UT 84049
All That Stuff in the Barn is located next to the Dainty Pear. I couldn’t find the official website after Swiss Days so it may no longer be in business.

All That Stuff in the Barn had a rustic yet trendy vibe. They sold household decorations and cookware.

One of the dare I say infamous Utah influencers is Ballerina Farm, also known as Hannah Wright Neeleman.
Notoriously known for perpetuating “trad wife” content on social media, she didn’t let the patriarchy stop her from starting the Ballerina Farm Store.
The Ballerina Farm store on Midway Mainstreet has a grocery on one side and a restuarant on the other. I forgot to take a picture, but I was pleasantly surprised by how fluffy and light the croissants were.
The Ballerina Farm food items sold included:
Here is a fun story: my boyfriend (picture below) served an LDS mission in Brazil (2008-2010) with Daniel Neeleman, Hannah’s husband (Daniel’s father owns JetBlue airlines).
During their mission, Daniel went by “Elder Daniel” (pronounced like Danielle) instead of his last name, “Elder Neeleman.”

When Joe and I first started dating in the summer of 2024, it was around the time “Meet the Queen of the ‘Trad Wives’ (and her eight children)” was published in the Sunday Morning Times.
I am obsessed with Utah culture and was telling Joe about the controversial article written about this local Utah influencer’s fascinating life.
Joe casually dropped that he knows her husband, and of course, this connection blew my mind. I had so many questions and needed all the details, but I still have to tease him about his nonchalance to this day 😉
Address: 152 West 100 North, Midway, UT 84049
The Dainty Pear Company is next to All That Stuff in the Barn. The building is gorgeous with the white stone exterior and the landscaping.
The cute old-fashioned red truck with the Dainty Pear Company logo parked in front of the building is a creative way to market.

The Dainty Pear Company sells household items such as artwork, home decor and local treasures.

Located in front of the Kringle’s store is a festive and decorated Santa’s sleigh, where you can take pictures.
There are so many Swiss Days vendors that it feels like a giant farmer’s market.
Enjoy walking from booth to booth with a dirty Utah soda in hand and live music playing in the background. There are so many cute craft vendors to explore at Swiss Days, ranging from:
Here are some notable Swiss Days Vendors from 2025 in alphabetical order of their shop name:
There were so many more vendors, and I did my best to take pictures and give credit where credit is due, but it was an overstimulating environment, navigating through a sea of people.
Here are some quirky lamps made out of a snow shoe and musical instruments.

Classic Advents offers advent calendars for the major holidays and additional product themes such as:
Each of the advent calendars are homemade with the assistance of laser technology.
Fun Fact: In Latin, “advent” means “coming.” This Swiss Days vendor caught my attention because I love the idea of a calendar countdown for Halloween and Christmas.
